I went to a dark sky location on the Pamlico Sound in North Carolina to begin my
Herschel 400ii project and while there got a shot of Venus and Neptune in Aquarius,
bathed in the zodiacal light.

Venus starts the year in Capricornus as it ascends ever higher throughout the
winter and spring until about end of April, when it will slowly begin falling
and then in the second half of May begin to sink precipitously towards its
inferior conjunction in June. This moderately telephoto view shows the
exact position of Venus among the fainter stars of central Capricornus.
