Starting at NGC 2302, move eastward and slightly south; you will pass several stars, the brightest three of which make an almost right triangle with the narrow apex at the top, then continue to another two stars of equal brightness oriented roughly east-west, and the cluster is just below the second one.  I thought it was an attractive cluster at 76x and 123x, with a handful of evenly spaced stars over a granular haze.
