NGC 1169 is located north of NGC 1161, and can be located by again starting at κ Persei, going northwest to the same pair of stars we began with previously, but this time continue northwest to a semi-circle of stars with the focus point of the arc to the west.  The galaxy is located at the focus point, but I could not see anything at 76x.  Going up to 123x allowed me to see a faint non-stellar patch.  I could detect some concentration; the galaxy showed an almost stellar core with nebulosity around it, but I could not detect any orientation or structure.
