This view of central Auriga was obtained with my modified Canon 5D full-frame camera that responds well to deep red wavelengths.  We see a good rendition of the two IC nebulous regions in the center, and there is a tiny nebulous spot east of the main group of clusters centered around M38.  I was not able to find an identification of the object, but found from one of the on-line surveys that it is an actual nebula.  We also plotted a good number of the open clusters in this area of Auriga, including one that I observed as part of my Herschel 400i survey: NGC 1664.  As far as I recall, the cluster NGC 1778 is one I have never observed.  Unannotated image.
