In April 2014, we traveled to Dallas, Texas to visit family.  While there, I took an evening to drive out to a dark sky site in central Texas for some astronomy and got these pictures of Centaurus, among other things.  Mouse over the thumbnail at upper right to see a telephoto view of the great globular cluster Ω Centauri.  The box drawn in the image above indicates the field of view of the enlargement.  Unannotated image, Back to Constellations
