Saturn and Neptune remain in close proximity to each other but still on opposite sides of the Pisces - Aquarius border. Saturn has moved back eastward almost to the border, shining at magnitude +1.14, while Neptune, more easily visible on this telephoto image, is at magnitude +7.91. The remaining drama for these two planets will be to see if Saturn can catch back up with Neptune and reach their final conjunction of this apparition before they both undergo superior conjunction with the Sun.
