In this wide angle view of the eastern sky in mid-twilight, we see Venus just barely over the horizon, to the lower left of Spica, with Boötes on the left and Corvus on the right of the frame. Venus shines at magnitude -3.93 this morning and is 15°17'43" from the Sun. Compare this view with my image of Venus on November 17, 2001 from Chiefland, Florida. Unannotated image. |
