Venus continues to move through Cancer, now several days away from passing the Beehive cluster, M44.  Venus is still by far the brightest starlike object in the night sky, but has nevertheless dimmed significantly since its peak in May ~ it now shines at magnitude -3.95.  Unannotated image.
