The separation between Venus and Jupiter continues to widen with each passing day. Jupiter remains in central Gemini and shines at magnitude -2.04, while Venus has moved all the way to central Cancer, on the edge of the Beehive cluster M44. Venus is at magnitude -3.95 and 20°04'08" from Jupiter; the two are also now on different sides of the ecliptic plane, with Jupiter still barely south of it and Venus barely north of it.
