From a dark sky location north of Bolton Landing, New York, on the west side of Lake George, we enjoyed a great view of Venus and Jupiter rising in central Gemini, now almost a week after their conjunction on the 12th.  Venus is magnitude -3.97 while Jupiter is at magnitude -1.98, with 6°02'42" separating them.  The waning crescent Moon was to the upper right of the field depicted in this image.
