Uranus is rising earlier each morning, and now is half-way up the eastern sky before the onset of morning twilight.  He remains positioned south of the Pleiades, to the cluster's lower right.  This morning Uranus is at magnitude +5.75 and situated just barely south of the ecliptic.  The blue green planet is still moving eastward against the stars, although more slowly now because he will begin retrograding on September 6.  Unannotated image.
