Venus is still prominent in the morning sky, and in fact over the next several months will become even more so.  This morning, on the anniversary of the beginning of Operation Barbarossa in 1941, we see Venus now well south of the ecliptic in central Aries, joined by the crescent Moon.  Although invisible on the image, we also marked the position of Uranus, now well inside Taurus.  Venus is magnitude -4.16 this morning.  Unannotated image.
