Jupiter is in Libra for the apparition lasting from late 2017 to the early autumn of 2018.  Here we see it well past its opposition date of May 9 and will end its retrograde motion on July 11, two nights from now.  After that time, it will resume eastward motion against the stars and soon move past Zubenelgenubi for a third time this apparition.  Unannotated image
