I had a hard time finding this galaxy, which is in keeping with my previous experience; I can always find the Blue Snowball planetary nebula, NGC 7662, fairly easily, but have difficulty with the galaxy.  Once I did locate the area of the galaxy, I had difficulty seeing it because it's so razor thin, but I was able to detect it.  The orientation of the sliver was also apparent, but I was not able to see any structure within the galaxy. This image from Greggastronomy shows some of the structure as well as the immediate star field.
