NGC 7457 in Pegasus

Date of Observation ...... January 19, 2020
Instrument ............... 13.1" f/4.5 dobsonian
Magnification ............ 76x and 123x
Location ................. Engelhard, NC (light pollution map)
Observer ................. Eric David
Skies .................... extremely dark, clear, very transparent, light breeze, zodiacal light strong
I observed this galaxy early in the evening when it was already well down in the west near the zodiacal light and a small amount of light pollution from a town many miles to the west of my location on the Pamlico Sound.  I found this galaxy to be easy, one of the easiest of the evening.  The galaxy looked somewhat elongated and fuzzy.   This is the best wide-angle view of NGC 7457 I could find that comes closest to the scale you can expect to see with the magnifications I used.
