NGC 4267 was a slightly longer star-hop than most, but not too difficult.  I started at the bottom star of the crooked-T that shows the way to M100, M99, and M98, and worked my way down to the southwest from that star to three stars arranged in a pair and a separated one; NGC 4267 made a triangle with those, off to the east; I noted it as not very difficult to see, did not require averted vision, and was clearly a non-stellar object, i.e., definitely had an extended nature to the fuzzy spot.  This would be a good candidate for a darker site.
