This galaxy was difficult to locate since it's in the barren area between the Sickle of Leo and the obscure pattern of Leo Minor.  At 76x I could not see anything, and even when I switched to 123x, I had to use the reference image in my observing guide to pinpoint the exact spot and then use averted vision to barely be able to detect it.  It was just a small hazy spot, no structure, no core, no nothing.
