NGC 3145 was my first target on the night of March 5, 2021.  It was barely visible at 123x; I could only detect it with averted vision, and could not make out any structure or a core or anything but a barely visible hazy spot.  I think the glare from the bright star in the main pattern of Hydra was partly to blame for the difficulty in seeing it.  The galaxy was too close to it for me to be able to move the star out of the field of view to get a better look.
