NGC 2639 is a galaxy in the southern part of extreme western Ursa Major, just to the upper right (northwest) of the third leap of the gazelle.  I found it to be small but easily visible using 76x and direct vision.  Unlike a good number of these H400ii galaxies, this one showed a very distinctive core set off from the surrounding haze.  At 159x, I could see the orientation easily.  This object exhibited a high surface brightness.
