This galaxy is in southern Lynx just across the border from the area of Gemini near Castor.  The star hop begins at Castor and from there it follows an easily recognizable pattern of stars leading to the site of the galaxy.  I found this object to be extremely small, although with a decent surface brightness.  I detected it as an unsharp star at 76x, becoming a somewhat more obvious hazy object at 123x.  It was still small, and exhibited no structure, but not as difficult to see as some of the objects on this list, for example NGC 2525 in Puppis.
