This object is a galaxy in northern Gemini, listed in the reference material I used as being magnitude 13.1, although listed in sources I found on the web as being magnitude 12.1, so it remains to be seen how easily this galaxy can be found.  Star-hopping to NGC 2274 is not too difficult if you start from Castor and move in an almost straight westerly direction, slightly north, to the brightest star in that area of the sky (θ Geminorum), and from there carefully move to the right location.  Once there, I could not see anything at first.  Ultimately I was barely able to detect a tiny fuzzy spot only with averted vision.  No condensation or structure was visible at all, just a hazy area at the threshold of detection.  This one is definitely a candidate for a dark sky site.
