This open cluster is located north of the nebulous complex of the Cone Nebula and Foxfur Nebula; it can be reached by going from S Monocerotis northwestward to a similarly bright star, and then heading due east to a dimmer star and then continuing on a litle bit less distance.  You must be prepared for something very faint!  I could not see anything at 76x, but when I increased the magnification to 123x, I was able to detect a smattering of faint stars visible with averted vision, while underneath them was just a granular haze.
