NGC 1162 in Eridanus

  I found this galaxy to be visible first only with averted vision, but then it became somewhat easier for me to see, and actually I noted it as having a high surface brightness.  I had a little difficulty star-hopping to its location because it's in a pretty sparse area, but in this case the detailed finder chart turned out to be instrumental.
