NGC 1114 in Eridanus

  I had a very hard time finding this galaxy, which was surprising since the sky conditions could not have been better.  Once I found it, it was very hard to observe; only with averted vision could I glimpse it initially, though once I saw it I was able to hold it with direct vision.  I could not detect any structure or features of the galaxy, no shape or orientation.
